Regulatory Reporting Manager (Solvency II)

We are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Reporting Manager for a market leading London Market Insurer with deep regulatory reporting expertise to lead a specialist financial reporting team within a complex, regulated environment.

This is a high-impact position where your leadership, technical acumen, and process improvement mindset will enhance the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of external reporting, while driving collaboration across planning, performance, and operational finance functions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Though every day brings new challenges, your core responsibilities will include:

• Leading the preparation and delivery of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual regulatory submissions in line with industry-specific and statutory requirements.
• Lead the Lloyd’s reporting team in the production of quarterly, half yearly and annual Lloyd’s regulatory returns, including Solvency II
• Overseeing end-to-end reporting processes across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (UK GAAP, IFRS 17) and prudential regulation frameworks.
• Championing a culture of continuous improvement by enhancing systems, processes, and tools used for reporting and data analysis.
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in finance, actuarial, and operations to ensure alignment on reporting timelines, standards, and business performance narratives.
• Acting as a key liaison with external regulatory bodies, contributing to market discussions and consultations where relevant.
• Supporting the development and delivery of internal management information, board papers, and ad hoc analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
• Keeping abreast of evolving regulatory standards and advising on their implications for reporting processes and internal controls.
