Role Mission
This role has direct responsibility for assisting Customers with regulatory compliance as well as CUBE product expertise and ensuring their needs are met as part of onboarding to CUBEās Enterprise Platform and ongoing servicing.
Responsibilities
- Assist Customers and CUBEās project leads, from a regulatory perspective, throughout the end-to-end project implementation. This includes initial customer profiling, gathering and delivering requirements to full business readiness.
- Once customers are in Business as Usual (BAU), ensure unrivalled customer service and deliver high-quality regulatory expertise to optimize how Customerās align their compliance needs to CUBEās data, services and capabilities.
- Involvement in maintaining and developing CUBEās proprietary regulatory classification taxonomy (Ontology), enabling appropriate coverage of regulatory content for financial services globally.
- Interpreting regulatory developments and communicating how these will impact Customers, as well as the functionality involved when adapting to a product-led business.
- Support other Regulatory SMEs by analysing regulatory content, participate in classification testing and coordinate with delivery and technical teams.
What Weāre Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in risk or compliance functions within the financial services sector (Insurance, Banking, Asset and Wealth Management and/or Payment services).
- Background in either a compliance monitoring role, operational risk or legal within financial services. Strong understanding of regulatory landscape, policy, risk and control frameworks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret internal and external requirements.
- Proven practical experience with taxonomies and compliance risk frameworks, in particularly with mapping controls to regulatory obligations is an advantage.
- High level of drive, ability to work independently, commitment to achieving solutions and ability to work under pressure.
- Ambition to develop a deeper understanding of financial services compliance, including Artificial Intelligence application in regulatory compliance
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks across US / Americas, EMEA and APAC.
- Intellectual strength/flexibility to rapidly understand complex problems, apply critical thinking, and rationalise these into workable solutions which can then be delivered.
- Good, practical level Excel skills and Excel based data analytics.
- Keen, proven interest in Artificial Intelligence tools, interacting with machine and supervised learning models/outputs and ability to provide qualitative and quantitative feedback to CUBEās technical teams.
- Juris Doctor, preferred.
