The Role

Are you passionate about food labelling, regulatory accuracy and helping businesses stay safe, legal and compliant? Do you love spotting errors others miss, interpreting legislation, and turning complex requirements into clear, practical advice?

We’re looking for a Food Regulatory Technologist to join our growing Technical Services team and play a key role in delivering exceptional regulatory support to major retailers, manufacturers and hospitality clients across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in food labelling, pack copy, specifications or product compliance who wants to work with a diverse client base and make a tangible impact on product safety and legality.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take ownership of delivering accurate, high-quality trading law and labelling services, including:

• Providing expert regulatory advice to colleagues and clients across retail, manufacturing and hospitality.
• Carrying out pack copy and label checks for both independent clients and leading retailers.

💡 What You’ll Bring

You’ll have the technical know-how and confidence to guide clients through complex requirements, including:

• Proven experience in label checks, pack copy creation, specification writing and artwork approval.
• Strong working knowledge of UK & EU Food Legislation and industry best practice.
• Experience using retailer specification platforms and online spec systems.
• Ability to write clear, accurate specifications and verify all data for legal compliance.
