Salary: Up to £24,937.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Rehabilitation Assistant to join their team of staff.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include
- Facilitate and run our Escape pain management programme and other such groups and 121 rehab sessions as required. This would involve delivering educational presentations and exercise sessions to NHS patients at sites across Bedfordshire. https://escape-pain.org/
- The post holder will be expected to have a basic understanding of exercise principals including the theories of exercise prescription and progression/regression.
- A desire to develop an understanding of a broad range of orthopaedic and musculo-skeletal conditions by attending monthly clinical meetings.
- To have a basic understanding of Osteoarthritis and a desire to develop such knowledge
- To undertake and maintain stock levels and ordering of equipment
- Make accurate written records of work undertaken with patients.
- To support the wider physiotherapy team and NHS MSK services as necessary and liaising with physiotherapist patient and carers as appropriate
- Undertake own CPD, including mandatory training and maintain up to date knowledge of clinical speciality through research and training.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
- Diploma/Degree in a Sport Related subject and relevant experience working in a MSK Rehabilitation setting.OR
- Level 2/3 gym/instructor/personal trainer or level 3 exercise referral/level 4 qualification/equivalent with experience delivering groups sessions. OR
- Experience of working as part of a Physiotherapy team or within the fitness industry.
- At least 150 hours previous experience of working with specialist populations, for example exercise referral, cardiac, back care, falls etc.
- Full UK driving license.
