Reinsurance Technician

We are working with a Leading London Market Reinsurer for a Reinsurance Technician. sitting within the Reinsurance operations team, the successful candidate will be well versed in annuity administration processes to maintain the technical processes for the reinsurer.

The core responsibilities of this role fall into:

• Lead the integration of longevity treaties into technical accounting and data processes, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and internal standards.
• Manage outsourced annuity administration services, including SLA oversight, client and provider relationship management, payroll validation, MI production, governance coordination, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Consumer Duty).
• Ensure accurate and timely technical bookings for single premium annuities and longevity treaties, collaborating closely with the Treaty Accountant and Data Management team.
• Oversee the administration and quality of policy and claims data, ensuring alignment with business requirements, SLAs, and treaty terms.
• Foster strong internal and external relationships, supporting system enhancements, high-quality client data delivery, and longevity business development initiatives.
• Act as a subject matter expert, maintaining process documentation, ensuring operational control consistency, and leading or participating in projects related to longevity accounting and performance reporting.

The successful candidate will have:

• Insurance operations experience
• Financial process and control design
• Reinsurance experience, a distinct advantage
• Management of relationships with external parties
