Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and driven Relationship Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, driving engagement, retention, and new lending opportunities. You will work cross-functionally with our loan management, underwriting, and business development teams to deliver an exceptional client experience and ensure smooth loan lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead point of contact for clients within your designated portfolio.
- Introduce yourself to newly assigned clients, outlining the ongoing support available through MFS.
- Collaborate with the Loan Portfolio Management team to ensure loan redemptions are processed within the agreed terms.
- Re-engage previous clients to explore current and future funding needs.
- Seek client referrals and identify direct lending opportunities outside the broker network.
- Structure loans in accordance with client needs and MFS' lending criteria.Manage client feedback through surveys and direct contact, recommending service improvements to internal stakeholders.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in relationship management within financial services, ideally bridging finance or commercial property lending.
- Strong understanding of loan structures, mortgage products, and the UK property finance market.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commercially driven with a client-first mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build long-term client relationships.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of underwriting and loan servicing processes.
- Existing network of property professionals or intermediaries.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management tools.
