Release Coordinator - BELFAST

Synechron is looking for an experienced Release Coordinator to oversee planning, designing, scheduling, testing, deploying and controlling application software releases for a global bank.

Role:

• Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and developers
• Efficiently deliver applications and upgrades required by the business while maintaining the integrity of the production environment
• Release Management activities (Planning, Governance, execution and communications)
• Organise and prepare to manage multiple parallel pieces of work
• Develop technology road maps, while keeping up to date with emerging technologies, and recommending business directions based on these technologies
• Planning and Managing each Release Lifecyle
• Managing, Planning, and negotiating the Release activities
• Managing Release Risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules
• Communicating key Release plans, commitments, and changes to Stakeholders
• Measuring and Monitoring Release Progress
• Leading and Co-ordinating Release Checklist
• Maintaining Release Repository and managing key Release information
• Ensuring teams follow Release Management established policies and procedures

The role requires strong analytical thought to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations and the ability to develop working relationships with other architects and IT application managers.
