The Job
As part of our continuing growth we are seeking to recruit a Release Manager within our Client Success Delivery Team. You’ll be working really closely with our Heads of Delivery, IT and Development as well as our Implementation consultants, Product development teams and Client Managers.
You will have the opportunity to have a big impact on our ability to release and deploy quickly, simply and efficiently to our clients.
Here's What You'll Be Doing
The purpose of this role is to release and deploy all software changes across multiple environments, you to be able to pick up how we work now and be the Champion to shape the design and planning of the future state collaborating closely with various teams to implement advanced Release Management tooling and seize automation opportunities.
You will be responsible for the Release Management lifecycle, involving all stages such as scheduling the release, coordinating between teams, and the manual deployment of release as per the schedule and within budget.
You will also be working across all our clients, new and existing and will ensure we have the correct infrastructure set up and installations, along with the IT Team
In order to be successful, you’ll need to build out a matrix of relationships across the business and work with us in our approach to implementing and working within ADO. Your understanding of what our clients want and what our business needs mean you can contribute to ideas around product development as well.
Key Skills And Experience
- Experience in release management and implementation of software systems
- Experience of developing scripts and automation tools to build, integrate and deploy software releases to various platforms.
- Experience in managing Change and the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
- Proven experience in managing complex projects and releases
- Adaptable and agile
- Be a responsible and reliable professional, with a consultative approach
- An understanding of business processes and workflows
- The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver rapid outcomes
- Confidence to adapt and learn new programmes and system
- A self-starter, who can take ownership of multiple tasks/situations and act on their own initiative, a natural problem solver
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of an organisation, and with clients
