Responsibilities
Job Description
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar and renewables
sector (domestic, commercial, and public sector).
Generate and qualify leads, network with potential clients, and build a strong project
pipeline.
Manage and lead tender submissions for public and private sector opportunities.
Assist with quotations, technical proposals and costings in collaboration with the estimating
and operations teams.
Win work and convert opportunities into profitable, sustainable projects.
Oversee handover to delivery team and support with project management, ensuring
smooth mobilisation and client satisfaction.
Maintain a detailed understanding of industry trends, competitors, and legislation (e.g.
MCS, SEG, DNO regulations).
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Qualifications / Skills
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a business development or sales role in solar PV or
renewable energy.
Proven success in winning new business and delivering on growth targets.
Strong understanding of solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging systems (residential
and/or commercial).
Confidence in quoting, tendering, and estimating renewable works.
Ability to work independently to bring in opportunities, while collaborating closely with
internal teams.
Full UK driving licence.

Competent in Testing & Inspection
Level 3 NVQ Electrical
BPEC Solar PV or equivalent
Knowledge of Renewable Energy
Experience in Quoting & Sales
Experience with MCS Accreditation
