The Repair Administrator will be part of Sepura’s Repair Centre, ensuring that repaired radios are Air-Checked and functional tested before being dispatched back to the customer.
As a Repair Administrator you will have a strong background of working in a Repair/Service administration environment to keep on top of the demands of working in a busy Repair Centre.

Role:
- Maintaining knowledge of customer specific rules/requirements for the return of repaired equipment following customs procedures where appropriate and liaising with dispatch area to achieve this.
- Re-allocation of customer licences for replacement radios.
- Maintaining knowledge of customer specific rules/requirements for the handling and treatment their equipment.
- Carry out functional testing of radios after repairs are completed.
- Allocation of Return’s Material Authorisation (RMA) numbers for customers who wish to send faulty Products to the Repair Centre.
- Unpacking of customer consignments of faulty Products and to ensure all the paperwork is correct.
- Assessment of the requirement for repairs fees, based on warranty status and physical condition of equipment.
- Requesting, pursuing, and processing of customer Purchase Orders.
- Liaising with customers to report progress on repairs, discuss repair charges or BER units as appropriate. Pro-actively keep the customer informed.
- Escalation of incidences where repair turnaround commitments are unlikely to be met or where any customer or product has higher than normal failures.
- Observance and safeguarding of security codes/procedures.
- Meeting customers for the transfer of delivered/collected repairs/disposal equipment.
- Highlighting potential problems quickly to the line Manager for resolution.

There Is No Such Thing As a Typical Day Here At Sepura. You Will Be Supported By Your Manager And Team, As Well As Collaborating With Other Departments Across The Business.
Repair Administrator activities You Will Be Responsible For Include:
- Booking radios out and creating advice notes ready for dispatch.
- Creating proforma invoices for international deliveries.
- Air-Checking repaired radios
- Providing new licences for replacement radios.
- Liaising with customers via e-mail on general queries
- Working with other departments within Sepura.
- Booking in radios returned for disposal.
The role will require an SC which the successful candidate should be prepared to go through. Sepura will apply for this approval on behalf of the candidate.
Qualifications
What you need to succeed:
- Higher level education. This could be a GNVQ, BTEC or A Levels.
Experience and Skills
- Previous experience of administrative duties.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good keyboard and word processing skills.
- Ability to work both with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Highly accurate and keen eye for detail
- Familiarity with using MS Office (Excel/Word)
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Dynamics AX/365
Nice to have:
Qualifications
- A relevant Administrative Qualification.
- Four GCSE’s including English and Maths at A-C.
Experience and Skills
- Demonstrated experience in Customer Service Environment would be desirable.
- Awareness of Health and Safety processes.
