Join a global leader in entertainment technology as a Technical Service Specialist. You will be part of a skilled support team, ensuring the smooth operation and repair of advanced products. This role includes hands-on work, customer support, and involvement in events and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic products; determine repair vs. replacement.
- Document all repairs, shipments, and returns.
- Set up equipment for production and apply updates (ECOs) to inventory.
- Provide remote technical support via phone and email.
- Guide customers on software updates and installations.
- Prepare demo and loan equipment; support trade shows and on-site events.
- Train internal staff, external technicians, and clients on product maintenance.
- Report product issues and provide feedback to engineering and R&D teams.
- Contribute to testing, quality improvement, and special technical projects.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Technical degree in Electronics or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in electronics repair
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to travel occasionally across Europe
- Skilled in soldering (including surface-mount) and manual assembly
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
- Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Physically able to lift up to 23 kg
Desirable:
- Knowledge of PCB and mechanical assembly
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Familiarity with wiring standards
- Experience in entertainment technology or related industries
