Reporting Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Reporting Analyst (Entry Level) to support data reporting, dashboard creation, and performance tracking across the organisation. This role is ideal for graduates or early-career professionals who are detail-oriented, analytical, and interested in working with data, reports, and business metrics.

You will work closely with business, operations, and analytics teams to deliver accurate and timely reports that support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Dashboards

• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Support development and maintenance of dashboards and scorecards
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness

Data Collection & Validation

• Collect data from multiple sources (spreadsheets, databases, systems)
• Perform data validation and basic quality checks
• Identify discrepancies and support data corrections

Analysis & Insights

• Analyse trends, variances, and performance metrics

Documentation & Collaboration

• Maintain reporting documentation and data definitions
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have)

Strong knowledge of:

• Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts)
• Data organisation and reporting concepts

Basic understanding of:

• Data analysis and metrics
• Databases or SQL (basic level)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and documentation abilities

Preferred / Advantageous Skills

• Exposure to reporting or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker – basic)
• Familiarity with:
• SQL queries
• Google Sheets
• Academic projects or internships involving:
• Reporting
• Data analysis

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in:
• Business Analytics
• Data Analytics
• Information Systems
• Finance
• Economics
• Or a related field
