Are you an experienced Reporting Analyst looking to rise to a new challenge?
Pepper Advantage is one of the leading loan servicing companies in the UK, and we are currently recruiting for an experienced Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team in Uxbridge, London.
You will be involved in the entire reporting development life cycle from the capture of requirements to the subsequent development, testing and delivery. You will also be responsible for producing both periodic and ad-hoc reports for both internal and external clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Production and publishing of periodic external and internal reporting packs
- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all reports
- Preparation and submission of regulatory reports
- Fielding ad-hoc report requests and data enquiries from internal and external customers
- Gathering and documenting reporting requirements from the business
- Documentation of internal production procedures
- Production of detailed report specifications
- Development and amendment of reports using SSRS and SQL Server
- Development and maintenance of the data warehouse & ETL environment
- Continually automating and improving processes within the team
- Working effectively in virtual, interdisciplinary, teams, contributing to a delivery driven culture
- Proactively and intelligently managing stakeholders at all levels, ensuring issues are dealt with effectively
This is a hybrid role and there will be an expectation (following an initial training period) of two to three days per week office attendance.
Essential Skills
- Utilising advanced knowledge of Excel, Tableau and full Microsoft Suite
- Thorough understanding of the analysis process and can collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve consensus.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to turn ill-defined opportunities and problems into clear strategic paths.
- Strong core in SQL database technology and surrounding complimentary systems with an advanced level of knowledge in Excel.
- Can contribute positively through clear communication, personal impact and behavioural flexibility.
- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organisation skills.
- Ability to apply data analysis techniques, based upon a detailed understanding of business processes.
- Can independently validate information and apply appropriate analytical techniques to report results to users (clients, management, third parties, etc).
