We provide integrated and ground-breaking solutions for the civil engineering and construction sectors, with specialisms in rail, highways, airports, marine, defence, energy, water, and environmental infrastructure.
Please note that this is based at our Farringdon/Hoddesdon, and this is a full time, fixed term contract until December 2025.
Reporting to the Head of Data and Reporting, the ICT Reporting Manager is responsible for the delivery and management of the VWUK Power BI dashboards presentational layer, which includes semantic models for the Power BI reports. The VWUK Dashboards presentational layer will be aligned to the organisational strategy of increasing profit margin through better decision making from the use of high value data solutions.

About Our Role
Azure Data and Reporting Solutions:
- Design, implement, and manage data and reporting solutions using Azure technologies. Ensure data security, integrity, and scalability within the Azure environment.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, reports and workspaces. Ensure that data visualisations are accurate, insightful, and actionable.
- Lead and mentor a team of ICT Report Writers. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and facilitate professional development to ensure high-quality output and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the organisation's data and reporting strategy. Identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide reporting solutions that meet their requirements. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulations.
- Regularly assess reporting systems and processes for performance improvements. Implement optimisation strategies to enhance data processing and reporting efficiency.
- Lead reporting projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Support with the management of project resources, timelines, and deliverables.
- You’ll have demonstrable experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or related field, coupled with proven experience with Azure data solutions and Power BI (essential)
- Demonstrable experience working as a Business Intelligence/Insights Manager or Analytics Manager is essential for this role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing Power BI Developers, Data Analysts, or similar roles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with data governance, data security, and compliance regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results
