As a Business Banking Manager, you’ll be part of an exciting time in Business Banking as we use our remote customer journey to support the growing needs of our customers; identifying customers’ business needs and presenting a range of solutions that the Bank can provide.
Being based at the Work Café you have a unique opportunity to support customers and business to make their better happen. Work Café aims to provide a productive and creative atmosphere to allow businesses to prosper, and to encourage the growth of a collaborative business community. You will have the opportunity to devise and run events for business owners and presenters at the Work Café and virtually.
You'll be there for our customers in the moments that matter – enabling customers and communities to maximise the opportunities available from award winning financial and non-financial support available through Santander.
You’ll be a great listener and love connecting with people. You'll be based in the Work Café branch, Oxford, and you'll be working as part of the future strategy of Work Cafes.
You’ll want to support our customers throughout, providing excellent service and working to a high standard of diligence to make the right decisions for the customer and Santander

- Identifying customers’ business needs and present a range of solutions that the Bank can provide.

- Working to grow customer loyalty from existing customers and grow market share by developing new customer relationships including third party referrals.

- Collaborating with the wider Business Banking team and teams across the back to continuing develop and improve the service we provide to our customers.
What you’ll bring:
- Customer facing retail banking experience.
- Experience in providing great customer service, helping the most vulnerable customers both face-to-face and over the phone.
It would also be nice for you to have:
- High quality verbal and written communication skills
- Confident and skilled in identifying opportunities.
- Demonstrable ownership for the customer experience across all channels including digital and online
- Knowledge of financial services and in particular Business Banking
