This role offers a position at our Paediatric Allergy 'Seal' Clinical Research Facility, to co-design our next priority in the field of food allergy prevention. This stream of work follows on from our flagship LEAP Study (weaning with peanut to protect against peanut allergy) and the EAT Study (including egg and peanut into babies' diets to protect from food allergy). We have forged strong partnerships across diverse South London community groups, to facilitate the co-design of our next prevention trial.
This role is funded from our successful National Health Institute for Health and Care Research project stream to Co-Design a Food Allergy Prevention Intervention, prioritising marginalised groups in society and listening to families from diverse backgrounds. This collaborative project also involves experienced healthcare researchers from St George's, University of Sheffield and Stirling, as well as members of the public and will involve recruiting Community Research Link Workers who live in diverse communities of South London.
