The intern will then
create a taxonomy of opportunities and threats based on qualitative analyses. They will coauthor an academic paper describing the taxonomy, dataset, and findings.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Is currently enrolled in or has recently completed a PhD program in human-computer interaction, ethics, social psychology, anthropology, sociology, or policy.
- Experience in interview techniques and qualitative analysis, including expertise in fieldwork.
- Is comfortable reviewing and engaging with interdisciplinary literature.
- High fluency in spoken and written English.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications
- Experience working with designers is a bonus.
- Demonstration of the ability to convert social science findings into practical recommendations is also an advantage.
