Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Oncology and Haematology Research Team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for a highly motivated nurse/AHP/clinical research practitioner who prides themselves on their excellent planning, attention to detail and flexibility. Secondments could be considered.
The Oncology Haematology research portfolio ranges from observational studies to interventional clinical trials with over 60 active trials running.
This role in particular, will support the breast and melanoma research portfolio, but there will be times when you will need to be flexible to work in other related areas as demand arises.

Main duties of the job
This role involves supporting all aspects of trial organisation from trial set up to completion as an integrated member of the clinical research team whilst also maintaining clinical skills such as venepuncture, blood sample processing, measuring blood pressure and recording 12 lead ECGs.
The role includes direct patient contact.
