Band 6: Research Nurse (Stroke)
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Nurse to join the Stroke Research Centre is available at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This role will support research delivery to all clinical studies on the portfolio in line with the aims of the National Institute for Health Research and the North London Research Delivery Network.

The post-holder will work closely with the Lead Research Practitioner and the Academic Research Lead to ensure successful research delivery to the stroke portfolio.
The post-holder will be responsible for identification and enrolment of eligible patients onto clinical trials from the Emergency Stroke Unit and the Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. The post-holder will be expected to register / randomise patients onto study protocols and to prepare and administer investigational medicinal products as per trial protocol. The post holder will be responsible to ensure clinical trials are run in accordance with ICH-GCP, research protocols, Trust policies, local SOPs and all other regulatory standards.
Nursing registration and experience in stroke are essential for the role; ideally, the post-holder will have experience of working in a clinical research environment. The post-holder will need to demonstrate willingness to work flexibly and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research environment.
