A leading UK insurer is strengthening its actuarial function and seeking a Reserving & Capital Actuary/Analyst to support key Solvency II, reserving, and capital initiatives.

This is a high-impact role working closely with senior stakeholders across finance, underwriting, and risk — helping shape decisions that underpin long-term financial stability.

The Role

Support reserving, capital modelling, and Solvency II reporting across the business
Contribute to SCR calculations, stress testing, and capital adequacy assessments
Assist with AFR production and technical provision reviews
Partner with finance, underwriting, and risk to deliver actionable insight

What We’re Looking For

Actuarial experience in reserving, capital, or risk within GI with 3 years of experience
Nearly qualified or qualified actuary (IFoA pathway preferred)
Strong data, modelling, and analytical capability
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
