A well-established Thames Valley law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate or Salaried Partner to lead and grow its new Residential Conveyancing team in Reading.

The Role
This is a senior-level appointment offering an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a new Residential Conveyancing offering within an established and supportive firm. The successful candidate will:

• Lead and develop a new Residential Conveyancing team in Reading
• Manage a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, with dedicated one-to-one administrative support from an experienced Legal Assistant
• Play a central role in the department's business development, marketing, and networking efforts, particularly focused on growing the firm's presence in the South Oxfordshire market
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, estate agents, and other key stakeholders

This role is ideal for a highly experienced conveyancer with strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, and the ambition to drive forward a new team.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:

• Have 10+ years' PQE as a Solicitor, Legal Executive (FCILEX), or Licensed Conveyancer
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters
• Be a confident communicator with the ability to inspire, mentor and support junior colleagues
• Have a proven track record of business development success and relationship-building
• Work effectively under minimal supervision and bring a solutions-focused approach
• Be driven, commercially minded, and capable of contributing to the strategic direction of the department
