Residential Property Associate

We are currently working with a highly regarded Legal 100 firm that is looking to grow its Residential Property Team with a Residential Property Associate (4–5 yrs PQE) based in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team known for its collaborative culture, top-quality work, and strong presence across the UK.

If successful, you can expect a mix of work acting for buyers and sellers in relation to purchases and sales of freehold and leasehold property.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing, drafting and amending contracts, deeds, letters and reports
• Completing search submissions and land registry formalities, researching titles and handling subsequent queries
• Managing exchange, completion and post-completion matters
• Advising on financial management matters such as mortgage redemption, transfer of equity and re-mortgage processes
• Handling residential tenancy and licence matters
• Providing advice on residential property transactions for new developments
• Secured lending work

What They’re Looking For:

• Associate 4-5 PQE
• Confident and personable
• General Property background
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong client and matter management skills
• A track record of successful practice development
• IT proficient
• Exceptional self-motivation and ability to assume responsibility for your own matter

Working Environment:

Hybrid working, typically with 2-3 days flexible office attendance, according to business need.
