The department delivers the following programmes;

The department delivers the following programmes;
- Part-Time Access Programme – This skills-based programme offers a route for adult returners into undergraduate degrees offered by the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
- English Language Education (ELE) – Providing a range of general, academic and specialist English courses, for undergraduate and postgraduate students, professionals and groups;
- International Foundation Programme – This full-time programme prepares International students for undergraduate degree study within the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences;
- Short Courses – The University’s extensive continuing education programme offers courses throughout the year in Languages, Science, Art and Design, Humanities and Social Sciences, available to all;
- Seasonal Provision – Our Summer and Winter courses offer an international experience at the University of Edinburgh for people from across the world
