To develop and deliver the SPrO Resource Management Plan, ensuring that SPrO and Client resourcing needs are proactively identified, understood, and effectively met. The role is responsible for driving continuous improvement in resource management performance metrics and optimising workforce capability, utilisation, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
π€ Trusted Advisor
Act as a trusted advisor to SPrO by understanding demand requirements and the wider needs of the client to facilitate effective, data-driven resourcing decisions.
π οΈ Resource Management Model Development
Support and, where appropriate, lead the development and implementation of the SPrO Resource Management Model, including associated processes, systems, tools, and reporting frameworks.
π Resource Management Initiatives
Lead and/or support SPrO organisational resource management initiatives (e.g., DSA career pathways, graduate and apprenticeship programmes).
π Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate closely with partners and demand leads on all resourcing matters to ensure alignment between supply and demand.
πͺ Governance & Representation
Chair resource management forums as appropriate (e.g., Partner Resource Management Group) and represent SPrO on all resource management matters.
π± Succession & Redeployment Planning
π End-to-End Resourcing Ownership
Take responsibility for the full resourcing lifecycle within SPrO, including onboarding (new starters), internal moves, and leavers.
π Continuous Improvement
Lead initiatives and targeted interventions to drive continuous improvement in SPrO Resource Management performance metrics.
π Data Analysis & Reporting
Conduct ongoing analysis and reporting of forecast capacity, utilisation rates, and resource availability to inform strategic decision-making.
π§© Demand Management Lead
Act as the first point of contact for demand leads to analyse and refine requests, resolve blockers, and manage risks and issues.

Portfolio Resource Planning
Establish and maintain regular resource and demand review sessions with portfolio leads to provide updates on workload allocation, deployment opportunities, and under/over-utilisation risks.

**Security clearance**
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
