Job Overview
- The post holder will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care for patients with respiratory diseases such as asthma, COPD, ILD, Bronchiectasis, TB and those requiring domicillary oxygen therapy
- The post holder will work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
- The post holder will act as a clinical leader, educator, and resource for other healthcare professionals.

Specialist Assessment & Care:
- Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions (e.g. COPD, asthma, ILD, bronchiectasis).
- Lead nurse-led outpatient clinics and inpatient reviews
- Assess and prescribe long-term and ambulatory oxygen therapy.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications/Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Significant experience at Band 6 in respiratory and or chronic disease management
- Knowledge of assessment and management of patients with respiratory diagnosis
- Independent prescribing qualification/or willingness to undertake
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
Desirable criteria
- Teaching qualification/experience
- Recognised post registration qualification in respiratory related subject
