An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time band 7 Lead Respiratory Specialist nurse to join our dynamic, caring and professional Primary and Community Respiratory nursing team.
Working in the primary and community care setting, the successful candidate will be expected to work across the health board and will be responsible for leading in the delivering safe, high quality care to patients with respiratory conditions and/or those requiring home oxygen, with the aim of providing that care closer to home.

Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time band 7 Lead Respiratory Specialist nurse to join and lead our dynamic, caring and professional Primary and Community Respiratory nursing team. We are seeking an enthusiastic forward thinking nurse with the requisite knowledge and skills in respiratory conditions. Working across the health board in the primary and community care setting, the successful candidate will work in patients homes , clinics and our respiratory hubs. Working collaboratively to provide safe, timely care, closer to home, the post holder will be responsible for leading the delivery of high quality evidence based nursing practice.
The post holder will lead in providing specialist nursing knowledge/ training to health care professionals and education for patients and their family. Working across the health board they will lead on the delivery of respiratory nursing care within the respiratory hubs, undertaking oxygen assessments, pulmonary rehabilitation and spirometry were required within their role.
