Restructuring Paralegal – London

A leading legal team is seeking an experienced Restructuring Paralegal to support its London-based restructuring and special situations practice.

This role sits at the intersection of legal analysis, market intelligence and knowledge management, offering broad exposure to complex restructuring and distressed situations. The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers from matter inception through to conclusion, providing support across a wide range of restructuring-related work.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring and tracking restructuring and distressed debt opportunities in the market
Maintaining internal materials relating to live and potential matters
Conducting factual and legal research
Reviewing, analysing and summarising documents
Supporting matter and document management processes
Tracking market activity, key cases and deal terms
Assisting with the preparation of internal know-how and training materials
Supporting business development initiatives, including pitches and written materials

Contributing to best-practice development within the team

Providing general paralegal support across restructuring matters as required

Candidate Profile

At least 1 years' experience as a restructuring paralegal.
Strong analytical, organisational and attention-to-detail skills
Proactive, able to use initiative and take ownership of tasks
Comfortable managing multiple workstreams under time pressure
Confident communicator, able to work effectively with lawyers and wider teams
Team-oriented, collaborative and adaptable
Discretion and professionalism essential
