If you are a lawyer with expertise in both restructuring and special sits, seeking a career move in-house to a private equity / credit fund, this rare opportunity will offer you a permanent secondment to a leading global fund, working within their in-house legal team, supporting the credit funds on the financing aspects of their acquisitions.
You will remain the employee of a prestigious US law firm with corresponding Cravath scale salary and infrastructure, whilst enjoying the perspective of life in-house, playing an integral role to the law firm’s relationship with the fund.
Focused on the demands of this one client, there will be busy periods but you should be assured of more predictability and WLB. Your career options remain open with the prospect of future law firm partnership or a permanent career move in-house, all the more accessible as a result of the first class commercial exposure you will benefit from working within such a high profile private capital fund.
