Improve the quality of care and reduce morbidity and mortality of
patients needing resuscitation and emergency medical or trauma care
by training delivery, assessment and support for health care
professionals, to ensure they have the knowledge and skills necessary
to manage patients of all age groups in accordance with national and
international guidelines, and relevant local policies and procedures.
The post holder will work independently with discretion to work within
broad occupational policies regarding the delivery of Resuscitation
training.
Attend resuscitation, medical and trauma emergencies providing
support and guidance to the team leader, also ensuring audit of the
event and providing feedback to team members.
Audit resuscitation calls, activities, outcomes and assist with the
development of training programmes, which reflect audit information.
Assist Resuscitation Practitioner & Clinical Skills Manager in the
provision of a flexible and fully comprehensive resuscitation services
to all Service Level Agreement contractors.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn’t mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn’t ‘fluency’, just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
