About The Role
As Retail Assistant (Bank) in our Crawley store your
main responsibilities:
- Support the Shop Manager with the day-to-day operations of the shop
- Process and manage stock donations, including stock rotation and presentation
- Assist in achieving sales targets and maximising income
- Help with cash handling, till operations, and financial procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to all shoppers and donors
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment in the shop
- Support volunteers and promote a positive team culture
- Liaise with the Furniture Scheme Manager regarding stock logistics
Attend relevant training and team meetings

Required Criteria
- Ability to undertake reasonable lifting duties
- Post Holder must be literate and numerate
- Flexible attitude to work
- Demonstrate good customer service skills
- Ability to provide a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check

Originally known as Worthing Council of Social Service, the organisation focused on alleviating poverty, isolation, and health challenges during difficult times.
