Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a knack for analysis and a passion for delivering excellent service? Join our client as a Revenue Analyst on a 6-month fixed-term contract and play a key role in shaping our financial operations.
About The Role
As a Revenue Analyst, you’ll support the accurate analysis and forecasting of service charges, ensuring compliance and transparency for our tenants. From budgeting and year-end calculations to reconciling payments and handling queries, your work will directly impact our financial efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse service costs, forecast budgets, and support year-end calculations for rent and service charges.
- Respond to service charge queries, ensuring legal compliance and accurate cost recovery.
- Collaborate with the development team on new build schemes and service charge setups.
- Identify budget variances and provide actionable insights to managers.
- Create exception reports to detect discrepancies and support resolution.
- Ensure accurate allocation of expenditure in line with service charge regulations.
- Assist with rent and service charge reviews and the annual budget process.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, clearly explaining financial data.
- Improve data storage and reporting processes for greater efficiency.
- Perform income processing, bank reconciliations, and support accounts payable tasks.
What They’re Looking For
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and finance operations.
- Experience with cash and bank reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and IF functions).
- Strong analytical, numeracy, and IT skills.
- Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex financial data clearly.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Experience working with managing agents (desirable).
- AAT qualification or equivalent (desirable).
