Revenue Controller – Kingsley Napley LLP

Kingsley Napley (KN) is seeking a Revenue Controller to you’ll work closely with partners and fee earners across designated departments, ensuring accurate billing, effective debt management, and compliance with SRA and HMRC regulations. You’ll be part of a collaborative team of six, helping to maintain healthy financial performance and client satisfaction.

You will:

• Lead monthly meetings with partners and fee earners to review WIP and unpaid invoices
• Reduce and maintain debt levels in line with firm policy
• Ensure accurate invoice posting and compliance with VAT and Solicitor Account Rules
• Handle billing queries and process credit card payments
• Maintain client matter records, prepare statements, and perform reconciliations
• Escalate potential debt issues and support matter maintenance tasks

We’re looking for:

• Experience in revenue control, billing, or credit control within a law firm
• Strong knowledge of VAT and SRA Accounts Rules
• Proficiency in Aderant or similar accounting systems
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management
• Confident communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach
• IT proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and adaptability to new systems
