Job Description

Reporting into the Sr. Director, Business Network (BN) Revenue Operations, the BN Revenue Operations Manager directly supports the BN Sales team through key sales operations functions to include forecasting, pipeline/metrics reporting, system support/updating (Salesforce.com) and compensation planning reporting. A critical success in this role will be the ability to provide efficient support to the sales organization, and, to communicate and work collaboratively with other groups across the global OpenText organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and publish weekly forecasting reports. Pro-actively follow-up on deals that need clarification and provide insight on quality of forecast and pipeline.
  • Track and report on pipeline and sales performance metrics through SalesForce.com (SFDC).
  • Provide SFDC ongoing user support and training
  • Ensure cleanliness of data and make system updates as needed.
  • Provide analysis for, advise on, and coordinate with, business leads in the improvement of business processes. Lead regional process improvement initiatives. Demonstrate thought leadership around sales processes and operations.
  • Provide thoughtful analysis on management dashboards to facilitate effective understanding of progress, achievements, and gaps; includes pipeline analysis, closed deal analysis, competitors, etc.
  • Support compensation planning through reporting and system updates.
  • Assist with post-signature Minimum Committed Value/New Revenue validation of key deals; ensuring clean hand-over from Sales to Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team.
  • Provide regular and periodic updates to the stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with departments and cross-functional groups to ensure company goals are achieved.
  • Develop and distribute adhoc information requests as needed.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Experience in Sales Operations, particularly Forecasting and Pipeline monitoring and tracking
  • Experience with SFDC especially SFDC reporting and dashboard creation
  • Experience with reporting tools and creation of reports
  • Experience with cloud business models is highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA or other relevant Master’s Degree a plus) and 5+ years experience in sales operations
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills (communication and task management)
