Salary: Circa £65,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

What You’ll Be Doing

As an RF Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of RF component-level design:

Research & Design: Developing RF circuits (LNA, HPA, Filters, Synthesizers, Modulators) across a wide frequency range.
Hands-on Testing: Utilizing VNAs, Spectrum Analysers, and Power Meters for design proving and fault-finding.
Prototyping: Carrying out rapid prototyping, soldering, and board modifications.
Environment Design: Ensuring designs survive harsh defence environments (EMC, vibration, thermal).
Collaboration: Using Microwave Office for design and layout, working closely with manufacturing teams.

What We’re Looking For

Core RF Expertise: Proven experience in RF design and testing (30MHz to 30GHz range).
Tools: Proficiency with RF design software (e.g., AWR Microwave Office, ADS) and lab equipment.
Electronic Knowledge: A strong grasp of digital, analogue, and power supply design.
Communication: Ability to present technical results clearly to stakeholders and customers.
Background: Experience in Defence, Aerospace, or Telecommunications is highly desirable.
