Description

Purpose

  • Provide nursing care to support existing care arrangements with Bluebird Care customers.
  • To carriy out comprehensive needs assessments and develops customer care plans for complex needs customers.
  • To provide training, direct supervision and monitoring of care standards.
  • To support the franchise business to grow the clinical and complex services


Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing leadership to nursing and care staff. The role involves maintaining high-quality care, implementing clinical best practices, and fostering professional networking business development and service expansion.


Provide clinical leadershop and oversight to ensure the highest standards of nursing care.

  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Supervise and support care staff, fostering a professional and collaborative working environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and collaborative working environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, commissioners, and external stakeholders to support service growth and clinical business development.
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical practices, implementing quality improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Oversee staff training and development to ensure competency and continuous professional development.
  • Act as a key contact for customers, and their families, ensuring a high level of communication and care provision.
  • Contribute to financial planning and resource management within the clinical setting.


Education, Training & Development

• Maintain own competency, take responsibility for learning and development needs and actively contribute to the learning and development of the interdisciplinary team.

• Complete all mandatory training as deemed necessary.

• Participate in performance evaluation / review with their line manager, identifying areas for improvement and appropriate plans / measures to achieve them.

• Provide feedback to line manager or the designated officer with regard to compilation of proficiency assessments for care assistants in the clinical setting.

• Develop and use reflective practice techniques to inform and guide practice as part of their daily work.

• Participate in National clinical meetings
