Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing
- Working hand-in-hand with stakeholders to understand key risks and controls, gently identifying any gaps and helping shape thoughtful, practical solutions
- Supporting the delivery and ongoing development of our internal control framework, helping us grow into a more resilient and responsive organisation
- Assisting in assurance activities and internal audits to ensure we stay on track and aligned with group standards
- Designing clear, accessible reports and dashboards to keep everyone informed and empowered to act
- Supporting strong governance practices that ensure transparency, trust and accountability across our ways of working
- Encouraging continuous improvement by sharing recommendations and insights with empathy and clarity
- Helping prepare engaging communications and materials that support open and inclusive decision-making
- Collaborating across the Chief of Staff team to co-create solutions and foster a culture of shared success

It would be great if you had:
- Experience working with internal control frameworks or audit processes
- Confidence in interpreting data and communicating insights in accessible ways
- A background in risk, compliance or operational controls
- Knowledge of governance and regulatory standards (especially in energy or utilities)
- Experience working in a matrixed or fast-paced environment
- Comfort with using reporting tools or dashboards
- Project coordination or stakeholder engagement experience
- A warm, open mindset and a willingness to ask questions, challenge ideas and contribute creatively
