Road & Estates Adoptions Manager – South West Region (Swindon Office)

This is a dynamic role where you’ll collaborate with our Land and Commercial Departments, manage tendering processes, oversee sub-contractors, and ensure smooth adoption of infrastructure and estates.

Your Role at a Glance
As Road & Estates Adoptions Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our infrastructure delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating tendering, cost analysis, and order placement
- Liaising with statutory authorities and planning/highway departments to achieve timely adoption of infrastructure (Sections 104/38/185 etc.)
- Overseeing sub-contractors and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies
- Managing documentation from instruction to adoption
- Maintaining accurate cost records and collaborating with the Commercial Department
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in construction, particularly road construction
- Strong communication skills for working with local authorities, solicitors, and customers
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Solid IT skills and budget management capabilities
- Excellent negotiation and time management skills
- A construction management qualification is desirable
