We are expanding our team and seeking a Roofing Supervisor who is friendly, motivated, and eager to grow with us. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a successful career within an innovative and growing company.
Key Objectives:
To be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, including leading and overseeing the roofing team. Ensure high quality installations, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with other trades to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule roofing tasks in alignment with overall modular construction timelines.
- Ensure all roofing work complies with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Train and mentor roofing staff, promoting skill development and safety awareness.
- Monitor inventory of roofing materials and tools; coordinate procurement as needed.
- Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, incidents, and material usage.
- Maintain a positive work environment and motivation of staff to achieve targets and ensure high health and safety standards including working at heights and PPE compliance
Key Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a roofer, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of modular construction methods and roofing systems (e.g., flat roofs, pitched roofs, membrane systems).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Valid certifications in working at heights, first aid, and site safety (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS in the UK).
- Full UK driving licence (if travel between sites is required).
