Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist
West Middlesex University Hospital
We are looking for Band 5 Physiotherapists to join our department within the West Middlesex University Hospital.
Applicants should have a broad range of knowledge and skills gained either through prior band 5 work, or as an undergraduate student. You will be supported to develop by an established team of senior therapists, overseen by a Physiotherapist professional lead. You will be encouraged to take part in service development, and will have regular supervision and teaching in line with your personal development plan.
The therapy teams operate in an integrated way whereby Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists are encouraged to work synergistically in order to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients. You will be encouraged and supported to grow your skillset, and to challenge the way we do things. We are looking for determined and self-motivated individuals who can make a difference to the care of patients from all backgrounds, and to promote therapy services within the trust. We are moving toward 7 day working, and successful applicants will be expected to contribute to this.

The post holder will provide high quality clinical care to patients, in line with the Trust values and in accordance with professional regulations.
They will work as an autonomous practitioner in providing physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management to own designated caseload of patients and to maintain up to date physiotherapy records.
They will use evidence based principles/current best practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
The post holder will experience through rotations in respiratory, medical rehabilitation, musculoskeletal out patients, orthopaedics, neurology, and emergency care.
