About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Ruby on Rails Developer to join our growing team in Northern Ireland. If you’re passionate about building high-quality web applications and want to work in a collaborative, agile environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Work with both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and development best practices.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Vue.js (preferred).
• Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and ORMs like ActiveRecord.
• Solid experience integrating with APIs and third-party tools.
• Comfortable using Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
