Dronfield Henry Fanshawe School is a successful, oversubscribed school with 1886 students on roll including 361 in the Sixth Form. It is situated close to the centres of Sheffield and Chesterfield on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
The successful candidate will act as the school’s frontline response to safeguarding referrals and processes; leading on assessments, responses, referral to relevant agencies, record keeping and following up on cases and must be able to understand how to recognise and identify signs of abuse and when it is appropriate to make a referral. You will be required to work closely with pastoral staff and SEND staff, ensuring implementation of the Equalities Policy and application of the SEND Code of Practice.
