The role
As a Safety Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is your opportunity to make a real impact in support of the operational capability of the nation’s nuclear submarine fleet and the continuous nuclear deterrent by joining our Submarine Support Engineering group.
Day-to-day, you’ll support the delivery of technical outputs including:
Essential Experience Of The Safety Engineer
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.

The role

- Providing safety and environmental advice to industry
- Production of safety and environmental technical outputs.
- Project management and technical assurance of safety and environment projects
Essential Experience Of The Safety Engineer
- Understanding of Safety Engineering and/or Submarine Systems/Engineering
- Defence background (desirable)
- STEM qualification
- CEng or IEng accredited or working towards
