Ricoh is currently hiring for a
Sales Academy Consultant EMEA, based in either London or the Amsterdam area. This role focuses on
maximising sales performance by designing and delivering
learning and enablement projects across Ricoh’s portfolio, including production-print and continuous-feed segments.
Successful candidates should have
B2B sales experience, knowledge of
academic sales methodologies, and expertise in
training or coaching within Learning & Development (L&D). The position involves diagnosing capability gaps, creating harmonized programs, and delivering
best-in-class training to enhance every stage of the sales cycle.

What you will be doing
As a
Sales Academy Consultant EMEA at Ricoh, you’d be responsible for diagnosing
capability and performance gaps at various levels, ensuring alignment with Ricoh’s strategic direction. You’d design and deliver
learning and coaching interventions to enhance sales behaviours and results while fostering
peer-to-peer learning through curated communities of practice.
Additionally, you’d lead
end-to-end projects that integrate learning strategies with Ricoh’s commercial objectives, ensuring measurable impact across all sales channels. A key part of the role involves launching and scaling
collaborative learning communities to reinforce new skills and sustain behavioral change.
Managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing
scope, budget, and timelines, and engaging diverse stakeholders would be essential. You’d also leverage
modern learning technologies (LMS/LXP, virtual classrooms, collaborative platforms) to embed
social-learning approaches into formal programs. Applying
data-driven methodologies like PDCA and Agile would help refine programs and demonstrate ROI
What you will ideally have
This role demands a
strong background in B2B sales, sales training, or Learning & Development (L&D) within a multinational or matrix environment. A degree in
HR, Education, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred) would be advantageous.
Successful candidates should have a
proven track record of designing and delivering
sales-capability programs across multiple countries. Expertise in
Advanced Sales-Process Knowledge, including a deep understanding of
B2B sales methodologies and metrics, is highly desirable.
Additionally,
Instructional Design & Adult-Learning Expertise is key—candidates should be able to build
blended, social, and experiential programs. Experience in
Performance Consulting & Coaching is also valuable, as the role involves diagnosing root-cause gaps and coaching leaders and reps toward improved outcomes.
Strong
Stakeholder Influence & Relationship Building skills are essential, as candidates must operate credibly with
C-level and country leadership without direct authority.
Project & Programme Management experience is crucial, including the ability to juggle
multiple regional rollouts, manage
timelines, risks, and dependencies, and leverage
analytics and feedback to iterate solutions and demonstrate ROI.
Professional certifications in one or more of the following would be beneficial:
- Learning & Development – CIPD L&D, ATD CPTD/CTDP, or equivalent.
- Project Management – PRINCE2, PMP, or AgilePM.
- Coaching – ICF ACC/PCC, EMCC, or similar.
Finally,
excellent communication skills are a must, with
fluency in English required. Additional
European language(s) would be an advantage.
