Sales & Business Development Manager – Metal Fabrication

£30–40K + Car + Uncapped Commission | North West (Hybrid/Road-Based)

Are you a driven sales professional with experience in metalwork or fabrication? Our client, a specialist in metal pressings, stampings, and complex fabricated components, is looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager to take their growth to the next level.

They already have global customers and long-term contracts in place – all without a dedicated sales function. Now, they’re ready to invest in someone who can proactively bring in new business and maximise existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and win new customers through proactive outreach and meetings
• Visit existing customers to uncover new opportunities
• Attend trade shows and represent the business confidently
• Support the development of the digital presence and marketing strategy
• Work closely with the Technical Director to match customer needs with services
• Travel in the UK and occasionally internationally

What You’ll Get

• £35,000–£40,000 base salary

• Bonuses for visits, quotes, and closed deals (uncapped)

What You Need

• Sales experience in the metalwork, fabrication, or engineering sectors
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivation and the ability to manage your own schedule
• Willingness to travel regularly
• Resilience and confidence to handle rejection

Location

Based near Altrincham, ideally you’ll live in the North West, but expect to spend most of your time on the road.
