The role
Berkeley Homes (Oxford & Chiltern) Limited is seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Sales Consultant to join our residential sales team. This role presents an opportunity to represent one of the UK’s leading developers in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance in our premium new build development in Sunningdale. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
As a key ambassador of the brand, you will be responsible for the end-to-end sales process, providing a seamless customer journey from initial enquiry to legal completion. This position demands a results-oriented approach, in-depth market understanding, and a consistent commitment to maintaining exemplary presentation standards.
- Drive unit sales through effective lead conversion, proactive prospecting, and consultative selling to achieve and exceed individual and team targets.
- Manage the full customer journey with professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring a smooth and informed experience from reservation to completion.
- Research and monitor the competitive landscape to strategically position Berkeley Homes developments ahead of the market.
- Maintain and optimise use of the sales database to enhance lead generation, pipeline progression, and customer retention.
- Oversee the legal process in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely exchange and completion.
- Uphold the highest standards across show homes and marketing suites, aligning with brand expectations and customer demands.
- Identify potential risks to sales and implement proactive measures to minimise cancellation rates.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all sales documentation, reports, and compliance requirements.
- Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner, maintaining client satisfaction and protecting brand reputation.
- Contribute to a high-performing sales culture by supporting team objectives and promoting best practices.
- Act as a professional and trusted representative of Berkeley Homes at all times, both internally and externally.
- Working 5 out of 7 days (weekends and bank holidays included)
Experience required
- Sales experience within the New Homes industry or residential estate agency preferred.
- Experience operating in a prime market, building relationships with UHNWI desirable but not essential.
- Ability to manage a demanding workload and showing resilience.
- Using initiative to add more value to the team’s work or customer outcomes.
