Sales Coordinator - UK, Ireland & Internal Accounts
The role
As a Sales Coordinator at Brompton, you’ll play a key role in supporting our trade customers across the UK and Ireland, as well as some internal accounts. Reporting to the Internal Sales Team Leader, this role demands strong organisation, proactivity, and commercial awareness. You'll be part of the frontline Sales Operations Team, responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening relationships with our retail partners.
Working closely with our in-country Sales Managers, you’ll help manage a 12-month rolling sales pipeline and ensure that bike and parts/accessory orders are processed in line with each customer's agreed sales plan. You’ll build lasting relationships with our trade network, providing frontline support via phone and email, and developing a solid understanding of their business needs.
You’ll quickly familiarise yourself with Brompton’s product range, systems, and procedures, as well as internal departments such as Customer Service, Marketing, and Dispatch. This role requires someone confident in handling a wide range of sales and technical queries and comfortable working cross-functionally to ensure operational excellence.

The Person

Main Responsibilities
- Support the sale of all Brompton products across your market and help develop the retail network
- Build and strategically foster relationships with retail customers, to gain clear understanding of their businesses, requirements, and objectives, to ensure sales metrics are met and expectations exceeded
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of all accounts, retail stores and contacts in your region
- Develop strong working relationships with the Sales Manager and Account Managers
- Contribute to the twelve-month rolling sales forecast/pipeline plan for your retail customers in accordance with sales objectives
- Allocate inbound orders in accordance with your pipeline plan
- Work cross-functionally with sales, logistics and finance teams to ensure all orders are shipped and invoiced on time
- Monitor and report on your region through monthly KPIs, against budget and annual business/ marketing plan.
- Performing statistical analysis and assess actuals vs forecasting.
- Raise risks and opportunities for your region and develop related corrective and preventive actions
- Funnel information, to and from customers, into and out of the business and across Brompton departments
- Support other departments (marketing, customer service, production, dispatch etc) to make sure all commercial and operations activities run smoothly.
- Drive awareness and interest of new products and service opportunities
- Where necessary, create ad-hoc reports on accounts, orders and retail stores using Salesforce
- Take payments from time to time
- Represent Brompton at trade and consumer events from time to time
Personal attributes and skills:
- Fluent in English, one of the following additional languages is a plus but not mandatory (Dutch, French, German, Italian)
- Strong sales ability and customer service skills
- Market aware and commercially focussed
- Strong numeracy skills with an ability to construct and interpret sales data/ reports
- Intermediate Excel skills: ability to construct pivot tables and use common functions
- Previous experience using Salesforce is desirable but not essential
- A natural communicator that can persuade and influence others
- Proactive with a problem-solving mind-set
- Ability to deliver presentations and report on markets.
- Flexible and able to quickly understand the requirements.
- Naturally curious; interested in processes, mechanisms and dependencies
- Attention to detail and a willingness to dig down into details while retaining a sense of the broader picture are essential.
- Determined and resourceful, with a willingness to learn to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate, able to work in a multicultural environment.

Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Supply Chain etc is ideal, however if you have professional working experience in a similar role and meet the main requirements of the role, we are happy to hear from you.
