Job Description

As an Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Sage, you’ll be the first point of contact for small and medium-sized businesses that have shown interest in our products. Your role will focus on engaging these inbound leads from various marketing channels, understanding their needs, and showing how Sage’s solutions can support their goals.

You’ll manage a high volume of leads, using your phone-based sales experience and product knowledge to qualify opportunities and spark meaningful conversations. By identifying customer challenges and aligning them with the right solutions, you’ll help build a strong sales pipeline and set the stage for successful partnerships.

This is a fast-paced, target-driven role that’s ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, connecting with people, and making an impact in a collaborative sales team.

This is a hybrid role - 3 days in office 2 says at home

Prospecting:

  • Respond to inbound leads generated through various Sage marketing channels, including website inquiries, social media engagement, email campaigns, and content downloads.





Outreach:

  • Proactively connect with prospects via phone, email, social media, and personalized messaging. Use in-depth knowledge of Sage products to introduce solutions and generate interest.





Qualification:

  • Assess prospects by identifying their needs, challenges, budget, decision-making authority, and timeline. Ask thoughtful questions to determine





alignment with Sage’s offerings.

Lead Nurturing:

  • Maintain engagement with leads who are not yet ready to buy through personalized follow-ups. Provide relevant information, address concerns, and





stay connected until they’re ready for handover to the sales team.

Pipeline Management:

  • Use Salesforce to manage and track all lead activities. Keep records up to date, maintain accurate lead statuses, and ensure smooth handoffs to





sales.

Continuous Learning and Improvement:

  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and feedback sessions. Stay informed on industry trends, product developments, and sales best practices to





continually improve performance.
