Introduction
We are looking to hire a motivated, proactive, success-driven and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to help grow our dynamic business.
As an SDR you'll be IBM ModernSystems’ first line of contact for outbound client sales activity. Your primary goal will be to generate and qualify leads into new business opportunities. With a focus on speed to engage, you will leverage your digital, product and consultative selling skills to connect the dots between clients' needs and IBM's solutions. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team advising and supporting new business engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle and helping to lead prospects to our industry-leading solutions. To do this you will have IBM Consulting’s substantial mainframe-using client base to tap into and the IBM client account teams to collaborate with (plus going after whitespace accounts).
Your Role And Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Lead Generation: Prospect and engage with personas in targeted vertical organizations, using ModernSystems extensive sales and marketing material, and convert these to Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs). Activities include:
- Qualifying prospects, understanding the objectives of their projects. Tailoring presentations and demonstrations to support presentation of our solution offering – supported by ModernSystems excellent team of Pre Sales Consultants.
- Create relationships with prospects.
- Deliver to the sales cadence timelines.
- Managing a pipeline and improvement of our close velocity.
- Social Selling and Thought Leadership: Utilize social media for social selling and thought leadership, promoting both IBM and your personal brand while engaging with prospective clients.
- Continuous Personal Development: Stay updated and engage in continuous personal development to become a trusted expert advisor.
