We are currently seeking a Sales Director to lead our Sales function at board level. As a key member of the leadership team, the Sales Director will play a crucial role in influencing company direction and delivering sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy And Leadership
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to consistently meet or exceed sales objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand our customer base.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Provide direction to the sales teams to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement customer retention strategies.
Product And Service Development
- Work closely with product development to identify and prioritise new product/service offerings.
- Gather and incorporate customer feedback into product/service improvement efforts.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage the sales budget.
- Monitor expenses and ROI to ensure cost-effective operations.
Data Analysis And Reporting
- Utilise data analytics to track and report on sales performance.
- Use insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies.
Market Research
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive landscapes.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
What You Need
- Degree in relevant subject
- Track record of successfully driving sales performance through insight and deep knowledge of the industry
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking
- Comprehensive understanding of the markets and networks we operate in
- 10 years at a similar level
- Preferred – MBA
