The team
Global Partnerships is the distribution arm of ITV Studios. From Line of Duty to Love Island, in Global Partnerships we sell shows from our catalogue of 90,000 hours and license our biggest brands from creators and producers everywhere sharing global and local stories with networks partners and streamers all over the world and we go beyond the TV screen into digital, social, merchandise, sponsorship, events, licensing, gaming, and more.
The role
- Maximise the value of ITVS GD’s portfolio of programming in assigned territories across all windows including – linear, AVOD, SVOD, FAST etc.
- Manage the assigned territories and ensure the successful delivery of revenue and profit targets (revenue: £6m+ p/a).
- Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term, high value partnerships.
- Work with VP to strategise, forecast and exceed annual sales targets.
- Work with management to set and achieve the sales strategy, including windowing and growth initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients in assigned territories.
- Negotiate deal terms which maximise return and profitability to ITVS GD.
- In conjunction with VP ensure that key accounts are handled in an appropriate and effective way.
- Prioritise work-load in order to maximise income ensuring that each territory is supported in the most appropriate way.
- Work with VP to forecast estimated sales projections for new titles under consideration with quick turnaround.
- Prepare for and participate in regular sales tracking meetings.
- Provide and present market context information when required with quick turnaround.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- An accomplished Executive with extensive experience of working in an international TV sales team.
- First hand knowledge of territories (Italy/Iberia) in the cluster
- Excellent communicator, with strong influencing skills and the ability to work with peers and senior executives locally and on a remote basis. Able to regularly communicate key information to the cluster.
- Strong people management skills
- Agility and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment and marketplace.
- Able to work in a lean, driven high-demanding environment.
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- Relevant Industry knowledge in scripted/ non-scripted series, market trends, evolving client business.
- Able to prioritise workload in order to maximise income.
- Able to take the lead in high-income negotiations.
- Excellent planning and coordinating skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Italian and or Spanish preferable
